El filamento 3D PolySupport™ de Polymaker se utiliza como complemento del material principal de construcción. Este filamento tiene la ventaja de permitir retirar los soportes a mano y no requiere productos químicos ni agua, a diferencia del PVA y/o BVOH.
PolySupport puede utilizarse en impresoras de extrusión simple o doble, ya sea como material de soporte para complementar el filamento principal (doble extrusión), o como material tanto de objeto como de soporte. En ambos casos, la estructura de soporte se retira fácilmente después de la impresión.
Excelente alternativa a soportes solubles: PolySupport™ es un filamento fácil de imprimir y almacenar. El material es resistente a la humedad y al calor y no requiere químicos peligrosos (solventes) para disolverse.
No tóxico: Antes se recomendaba utilizar materiales solubles para imprimir piezas de geometría compleja.
El filamento PolySupport de Polymaker se imprime a una temperatura de extrusión de entre 220 y 230°C y una temperatura de cama de 25 a 60°C, con una velocidad recomendada de 20 a 40mm/s. Se recomienda usar BuildTak, pegamento o cinta para mejorar la adhesión a la cama.
